Biography

Pacific Pathology Associates, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice, is pleased to include Andrew Judd, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Judd has an extensive academic background with impressive teaching experience.

Dr. Judd graduated from Portland State University in Oregon with his Bachelor of Science degree. He then earned his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Judd went on to serve a four-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, during which he also served as chief resident. While there, he subsequently completed a molecular genetics pathology fellowship, followed by a hematopathology fellowship.

During his postgraduate training and into his professional career, Dr. Judd was active in a variety of teaching and educational activities at the University of New Mexico and affiliated training hospitals, including nearly a dozen resident-led medical labs and didactic sessions. He served on four committees for the UNM Department of Pathology, such as the Resident Recruitment Committee, the Program Evaluation Committee, the Program Review Committee, and the PA Search Committee. He has since worked with Pacific Pathology Associates in Salem, Oregon, where he currently serves as staff pathologist.

Dr. Judd is a member of the American Medical Association, and belongs to three other professional medical organizations. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and molecular genetics pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Dr. Judd has delivered the results of his research efforts as abstract, poster and oral presentations at national and international medical conferences.
